In some bingo sites the computer automatically detects that the player has gotten 5 consecutive numbers and declares that player the winner, or, the player has to click a button to be able to get their prize. Of course, the online bingo player sitting at home is not prevented from yelling bingo at the top of their lungs although of course the computer will not hear this.
